What we do:
LFS has been providing critical, quality human care services for 125 years to our community’s most vulnerable populations. Here’s how we do it:
We welcome — For refugees and other international newcomers joining our community, we provide direct support services leading to safety and security. Our multilingual case workers provide case management, advocacy, cultural orientation, education, immigration legal services, employment and job readiness training.
We strengthen — At all stages we support and strengthen families by providing human care services that help children and families thrive. We offer adoption, foster care, parenting classes, pregnancy counseling and youth behavioral health services including treatment for children impacted by sexual abuse.
We heal — We offer trauma therapy counseling, mental health therapies, alcohol and substance use counseling and crisis response. Veterans, active military and their loved ones are served by LFS At Ease.
